Sysco is Hiring a Production Associate (FT) Near Jessup, MD
This position is also responsible for:
- Grade product quality based off of standards set for each client
- Adhere to all rules of safety and regulatory compliance as applicable to the value stream (USDA QTV, FDA, OSHA, etc.) • Other duties as assigned
- Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays and weekends
- Read and comprehend documents in English
- Must be able to work around cleaning chemicals - for example chlorine and sanitizer. Must be able to work in an environment with ammonia
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Walk, stand, balance, push, pull, lift and reach on a regular basis
- Move and grasp items with both hands; hear and see well
- Work in a cold environment with temperatures which range from 35 to 38 degrees
- Wear steel/composite/aluminum toe, slip resistant safety shoes/boots
- 18 years of age
- Able to successfully pass a criminal background check
- Ability to successfully pass drug test
- Able to work 5-6 days a week
- Able to work weekends and holidays
- Able to work 8 hours per day
- No allergies to Chlorine
